This wonderful couple had a beautiful little boy just a few months before they got married and wanted to include him in their engagement session. We chose one of their favourite places to go on family walks, to Toronto’s High Park. It was a beautiful spring day, perfect for pictures.
High Park in the winter. It’s just as beautiful as in the summer. It was pretty much empty when we took these beautiful engagement photos for Olena and Don. They love the winter and we’re getting married in the fall so we felt this was perfect for them. Although it was a little cold, the weather held out and some beautiful pictures came out of it.
Part One of Two engagement shoots with these guys. They’re awesome, alternative and very loving people. They let us play around, not only taking conventional pictures but also composite photos for their shoot. After the engagement shoot we went with them to a tattoo parlour to get matching paper airplane tattoos.
When we started talking to Chantelle and Jimmy the first thing they mentioned was wanting to have their dogs be a central part of their engagement shoot. Sonia and Isac are a fun loving and hilarious couple, they have a business GrainDeep which creates custom laser engraved wood & suede products . They love making each other laugh and it’s obvious care deeply for each other. The smoke bombs were tons of fun, trying to integrate them creatively was a task as the wind kept blowing it away. This is engagement shoot was too easy. These guys were pros in front of the camera. It’s funny how people always think they’re going to be awkward, but usually it ends up where the first five minutes there is a bit of awkwardness and then it all melts away. Bree & Daryl were pros, Daryl couldn’t stop making his fiancé laugh which made shooting them so much easier.
